There's movement at the O'Connell Rec Ground

There are signs of progress at the O'Connell Recreation Ground on the corner of Beaconsfield and O'Connell Roads. The plumbing is in and the formwork is ready to take the concrete for the base of the amenities block. Out on the field the wicket is ready for play.

Women Wolves are winners!

You have to be keen about your sport to put on shorts and a short sleeved shirt to run around at nighttime at this time of year in Oberon, but the Oberon United Football Club women did just that at the Oberon Recreation Ground on Wednesday, May 29. The All Age Women 3rd Grade team took on the ladies from Macquarie United FC All Age Women 3rd Grade Black and came out victorious ...

Words about the Wolves

There were mixed resuilts for the Oberon United Football Club teams over the May 25-26 weekend. The Under 13s went down 0-2 to Bathurst 75 FC Under 13s but the All Age Women 3rd Grade team reversed that by beating Bathurst 2-0. Oberon Matters went to the Under 13s match to take some photos.
