There's movement at the O'Connell Rec Ground

There are signs of progress at the O'Connell Recreation Ground on the corner of Beaconsfield and O'Connell Roads. The plumbing is in and the formwork is ready to take the concrete for the base of the amenities block. Out on the field the wicket is ready for play.

If the weather gods smile kindly on the project everything should be ready for the start of the cricket season in November. It will be nice to have the annual Fish River Cup match between O'Connell and Tarana right next to the Fish River.
