Oberon Tigers Senior League

The big news this week was the annual Can Assist auction which surpassed all previous events by raising sixty-four thousand dollars.

This is what the club had to say:

"Well that's Can Assist done and dusted for another year. Last year, we raised an incredible $60,000 for our local chapter. We always knew that was going to be hard to beat, however, with the generosity of our local community, we have raised an incredible…..

"$64,000!!!!

"We cannot thank everyone in our community enough for your unbelievable generosity. These funds stay in our local town and deliver much needed assistance to those effected by cancer, which everyone either has, or know someone who has. There are too many people involved to name them all, but a special mention must go to Spiro and Prue for their tireless efforts, the committees of both clubs, our sponsors, the Leagues Club bar staff, and the BNL team for once again doing a great job! Thank you to everyone involved!!"

The club was so crowded it was difficult to move around to
get photos, but here are some anyway

In actual football, the league tag ladies just missed out on a finals berth - better luck next year. The men made it into the final eight and will face the Peak Hill Roosters at Peak Hill next week for the first elimination round.
