Congratulations to local fireman Geoff Swannell who raised $3,000 towards the $158,000 total from all the members of Fire and Rescue NSW who took part in the 2025 City to Surf. The money goes towards Beat the Burn, a charity to raise money to support the Burns Unit at at The Children's Hospital at Westmead.

Oberon's New Living Treasures

A community is made up of the people in it and their stories. If you walk through Oberon Common you can see a wall of images of Oberon's Treasures - people who helped make the history of Oberon. But those treasures were declared many years ago, so the Oberon Museum has embarked on a project to capture the stories of current living Treasures.
