Getting scammed via a text will be harder from July 1 - but more businesses need to act June 18, 2026 in Business We've all received those deceptive texts messages looking like they come from a reputable organisation but which turn out to be scams. From July 1 there will be a way for legitimate businesses to put a virtual big green tick on the top of SMS messages and for the people receiving those texts to be confident that they can safely be opened and acted upon. If you have a business, you need to get on the "Verified" register and if you are anyone else you need to know what to look for.  | The craft shop moves and having moved, sells on March 12, 2026 in Business and Community Updated May 21, 2026 There's been a shop selling local crafts and produce in a space now taken over by the Saddlery store. This has never been a perfect situation, and the crafts have now moved to a new home (and a new name - Crafters & Collectors @ 104) in the old Anglican Rectory at 104 Oberon Street.
