The craft shop moves and having moved, sells onMarch 12, 2026 There's been a shop selling local crafts and produce in a space now taken over by the Saddlery store. This has never been a perfect situation, and some of the crafts have now moved to a new home (and a new name - Crafters & Collectors @ 104) in the old Anglican Rectory at 104 Oberon Street. As well as providing much more space and a greater flexibility for how stock is displayed, the move means that a building that has been sitting idle for too long now has a purpose. There are still craft works available at the Saddlery, but now there's a bigger choice of places to shop.
There will be a "soft" opening on the weekend of March 14 and 15, with the official launch happening closer to Easter. Watch this space. Oberon Matters had a look around pointing the camera at things as the store was being set up. See also: It's finally open
