Local History Stage two students visited the Oberon Museum and The Common today. The excursion was to add interest and information to our local history studies. The Museum volunteers arranged a fantastic scavenger hunt activity for students to locate historical artefacts. Although we often visit the playground at The Common, today we focused on the many historical features on display and did another scavenger hunt activity to find features of interest. It was a fun and enjoyable day. Lorraine Hotham l Classroom Teacher
