Congratulations to Niamh for being our newest Student of the Week. Niamh has been demonstrating her ability to persevere with tasks, particularly with her work in English. She has been listening more carefully to the sounds in words she is trying to spell and has been really working hard with her fluency work. Well done, Niamh!

St Joseph's Catholic School

What an epic afternoon of friendly competition! This afternoon we held the highly anticipated Students vs. Teachers T-Ball game, and it did not disappoint! The energy was electric and the laughs were endless. Teachers showed off their skills, while students proved they've been practising in secret! In the end, it wasn't just about winning (...BUT the teachers did Win!!!!) but about coming together as a school community and creating memories that will last a lifetime. Who's ready for next year's rematch?

Christmas Cooking

Mrs Hotham brought the Christmas cheer to life in 3/4D, turning the classroom into Santa's cookie workshop. Students enjoyed making reindeer cookies so cute even Rudolph would be jealous. Students have also enjoyed learning about angles in mathematics.

Super Scenic World

KM had a wonderful time exploring Scenic World, Katoomba. They caught the steepest railway in the world, down to the floor of the Jamison Valley, exploring the natural fauna and flora. Along the way they spotted some prehistoric creatures before taking a much slower rise to the top in the cable car. This was a great way to explore our local history and the importance of the Blue Mountains.
