Small Schools Book Week Celebrations

Our students joined a number of other local small schools to participate in Book Week celebrations. The students loved parading in their favourite character costumes, sharing morning tea and lunch with the other students, reading the short-listed books and engaging in accompanying activities. A big thank you to Mrs Cogdell, Principal of Trunkey Public School, who organised a great day for the students.

Book Week Magic

This year's Book Week was a showcase of incredible creativity and effort from our students! From classic characters to imaginative new ones, the costumes were nothing short of amazing. Special shoutout to Mr. Happy, who not only dazzled us with his cheerful costume but also achieved the impossible - running up the hill with a big smile on his face! A huge thank you to everyone for making Book Week so much fun. Your hard work and imagination truly brought our favorite stories to life!

Stage 3 Class Olympics

Over the past three weeks, our Stage 3 students have been putting their skills to the test in our very own Class Olympics! With events like puzzle building, basketball relays, item sorting, and even the ever-challenging bottle flipping, the competition was fierce, and the fun was off the charts!

After 11 events the top 3 placed countries were:

  • 1st Place: USA
  • 2nd Place: Argentina
  • 3rd Place: Jamaica

Well done 5/6 on your hard work and sportsmanship. Whether it was solving puzzles or mastering that perfect flip, everyone gave it their all and made this a truly unforgettable experience!

Green Thumbs!

Students and staff volunteered to join with our P & C members to spruce up the garden at the front of the school. Together, they weeded, pruned and refreshed the garden beds. Not only did they brighten up the school garden, but they also shared plenty of laughs throughout the afternoon.

Aussie Adventures!

Year 7 Camp at The Great Aussie Bush Camp in Tea Gardens has been an exciting adventure! The first day and night students experienced thrilling activities like the 15 metre high swing, which was both exhilarating and challenging. They also took on the gully crossing, testing their balance and teamwork. In the evening they went spotlighting enjoyed hot chocolates and gathered around the campfire to share stories and laughter.

Thank you!

O.S. Trees of Bathurst generously donated a load of mulch to our school, which will be a great addition to our gardens. We are grateful for their support in helping us maintain beautiful and functional green spaces.
