2025 Oberon Shakespeare Festival - Part 3 March 20, 2025 The weather on the afternoon and night of March 15 was perfect, and a good crowd assembled in the Oberon Common for a performance of A Midsummer Night's Dream. The cast consisted of four actors from Come You Spirits plus some extras from Oberon High School's after school drama group and they put on a show that nobody could be unhappy about. It used a minimal set, but with Shakespeare it's the words that matter so very little scenery is required to tell the story. See also: Oberon High School's comments about the performance
Now on to the show. As it was neither possible nor appropriate to get between the audience and the players to use a flash, the photos only go until the the light dropped to the limits of the clever Nikon to reduce motion blur and manage exposure.
A special mention should be made of professional sound and light technician Adam Scott, who synchronised music and sound effects with the scrolling script.
