What a day for our Oberon United

The men came away with the win today, securing their spot in the GRAND FINAL. They’ll take on Mudgee next weekend in what is sure to be a massive game. Unfortunately, it wasn’t to be for our women’s team, going down 1–0 in a tough, hard-fought game. We are incredibly proud of the girls and everything they’ve achieved this season. Sometimes football doesn’t go your way, but you can hold your heads high.

Our very own Charlotte Cook received Prelim Associate Reserve Champion rider at the Zone 3 Dressage Championships. Well done. Thank you to Carcoar Pony Club for hosting this event.

Well that’s a wrap on the 2026 season.

Our Under 18s went down 1-0 in a hard fought match against SASC. The girls can be incredibly proud of how well they played. Good luck to Oberon juniors Caley, Grace and Laura as they represent SASC in the grand final.. Under 6s, 8s and 10s celebrated the end of their season with a medal presentation and sausage sizzle. Congratulations to everyone on a fabulous season.

State Athletics!

Huge congratulations to our amazing students who competed at the State Athletics Championships in Homebush last week! Our students participated in their individual events as well as the 14-year girls relay.

Congratulations to Sherlyn Kerubo, Heidi Lewtschenko, Lexi Booth, David Gleeson, Cattleya Maloney, and Rose Christie-Johnston for their commitment and for representing our school with pride.

Special mention to Heidi and Lexi on their outstanding achievements.

Lexi Booth – 6th in 200m, 10th in 100m, and 7th in high jump
