WEEKEND RESULTS | THE WOLVES ARE ON THE HUNT

What a weekend for the Oberon United Wolves.

WOMEN | 7-1 WIN The ladies finished off their final round game in style, coming away with a huge 7-1 victory. Now it's onto a massive game next weekend. A win will see the women straight through to the Grand Final for the 3rd year in a row.

MEN | 4-1 WIN The men have also started their finals campaign with a bang, securing a 4-1 victory in their first semi-final. They're continuing to work their way towards the ultimate goal - a spot in the Grand Final.

From here on, all games will be played in Bathurst on Sundays:

Men - 9:00am
Women - 1:00pm

Two teams. One goal. THE BIG DANCE. Let's get behind our Wolves and hopefully we can see both our men's and women's teams make it all the way to the Grand Final!

Oberon Tigers Senior League

Congratulations to our First Grade and Youth League sides who played in their respective Grand Finals on the weekend.

Two very tough games were played, our Youth League side faced Cowra Magpies and were defeated 42-8. This score isn't reflective of the effort these boys have put in all season, every one of them has worked hard week after week to get to this point. Congratulations to Cowra Magpies Youth League!

Our First Grade side played a very closely contested match against Blayney Bears, this one felt like it could've swung either way but our boys showed up and brought home another win, back to back premiers - 2025 and 2026. Congratulations to Blayney, your first grade side and club have worked hard to be in the spot you're in.

A massive thank you to Cowra Magpies and Woodbridge cup for putting on a great, well thought out Grand Final day. A big thank you to Club Oberon for having us post match at the new club, thank you to our sponsors, supporters, and committee. It's been a huge year, two grand final sides is the results of the work put in.

That's a wrap on the regular rounds!

On Saturday we wrapped up the last game of the regular rounds, and what a season it has been for the Oberon Netball Club!

U12s
Unfortunately, our U12s didn't come away with the win today, but the good news is they are heading into the Semi Finals next week! What an achievement! A huge congratulations to all the girls for their efforts, and a special mention to Halle, who was named Player of the Match!

U16s
What a year of growth for our U16s! They have improved so much and come such a long way in just one season. They have faced plenty of hurdles along the way, including having half of the team playing up an age group and competing in a higher grade. Despite these challenges, they continued to work hard, support each other and improve week after week. A huge congratulations to Lilly, who was named Player of the Match!

Seniors
Our Seniors finished the regular season in spectacular form, taking out the game 38-29! Today, every single player was named Player of the Match - and we couldn't think of a more fitting way to finish the season. Every player has contributed, supported one another and helped make this team what it is.

It has been an absolute privilege to watch these teams grow, develop and come together throughout the season. Seeing the friendships, confidence and skills develop has been one of the highlights of our first year.

As a club, we are incredibly proud of how far we have come in just one year. We know our first year may have come with a few hiccups and challenges, but we have learnt so much along the way. Our goal is to continue improving every year, building on what we have created and growing bigger and stronger together.

A massive thank you to every player, coach, manager, parent, supporter, volunteer, umpire, Bathurst Netball Association, and all of our amazing sponsors who have helped make our first season possible. Your support has meant so much to our club, and we truly couldn't have done it without you!

We're already excited for next season and hope to see all of our familiar faces back again - and hopefully plenty of new ones joining us too!
