Oberon Golf Club
Please join us in welcoming our new Club Captain - Laurie Murphy! Laurie has been a valued member of Oberon Golf Club since 2003, and we're excited to see him step into the role of Club Captain. When asked about his favourite golfing memory, it was an easy answer - sinking a hole-in-one on the 9th hole on Keith Cleton's birthday. A moment he'll never forget!
Round 10 of netball for the Oberon Netball Club last Saturday! U12s had an great win again this week with a score of 11-2 and is still currently 3rd on the ladder with all girls played so well and Annabelle doing some amazing shots in the game and being named Player of the Match! Our U16s did not need to play this weekend as the BNA 13 Development team forfeited giving the 16s a win and moving up on the ladder The Seniors unfortunately did not come away with a win this week but have improved so much and closing the gap in points compared to when they played this team at the start of the season well done girls cant wait to see the rest of the season. Well done to Jai for taking out Player of the Match! And a big shout out to this week's umpires, Amanda, Acacia, Jorja and Lexi for doing a fantastic job on the courts once again
2026 Woodbridge cup regular season has finished up! Bring on finals footy. Thank you to Grenfell Goannas for having us on Saturday, we hope your Old Boys Day was enjoyed by all. As the regular season comes to a close for the year our girls finish up, spirits and morale are high nonetheless. Lots of lessons learned for the girls this year, and a great last game of the season to round things out, just a few kicks in it. We are very proud of our Youth League boys who have secured 2nd place - what an achievement for their first ever season together. Our club could not be more proud of the work ethic, dedication and respect these boys all show each other, their coach, our club and committee, refs and their opposition. Keep showing up for each other boys! Another congratulations is in order, back to back minor premiers, Oberon Tigers First Grade. It's not always easy but it's always worth it, we love seeing our First Graders compete every week and their spot at the top of the ladder is absolutely a reflection of the hard work they put in week after week.
MINOR PREMIERS For the second year in a row we would like for you to join us in congratulating the Oberon Tigers First Grade side! The boys have done it again, finished top of the ladder after 12 rounds. A testament to the work that goes into this side. A huge congratulations to coach Nic Barlow and manager Brian Moss, thank you for dedicating your time to helping produce these results, a lot of time and effort goes into getting the side ready to compete week in, week out. Our First Grade side is also lucky to have some valuable long term leaders who play a big part in these results, Luke Christie-Johnston, Abel Lefaoseu and Blake Fitzpatrick to name a few. We're ready to cheer you on through another finals series!
