We would like to introduce our new Club President, Scratch Miller, who has stepped up from his role as Club Captain and is an instrumental and valued part of Oberon Golf Club and take a moment to say a massive thank you to Barry Lang on his tenure. Barry has selflessly given his time both on and off the course for many years now, culminating in his role as president during a time of great change for the club. Barry's incredible local knowledge and experience has been extremely beneficial when it comes to being able to get the jobs done. Barry's contributions go far beyond the obvious physical changes to course, with as much if not more work being done behind the scenes that often goes unnoticed. While Barry's time as president has now come to an end he will remain an active member of the board going forward, meaning his experience will not be lost to the club. There is no doubt that Barry Lang will leave a long lasting legacy at Oberon Golf Club. The board and management wish to thank Barry for his incredible contributions thus far!

Oberon United Football Club

What a fantastic weekend for OUFC. A massive congratulations to our Under 13s, who pulled off an outstanding and impressive 9–1 victory. The team played some fantastic football, showing great teamwork, determination and skill. A well-deserved result and a great reward for all of their hard work. Our Men's First Grade were also unstoppable, securing a dominant 10–0 win in an incredible performance. The boys were clinical in front of goal and worked hard from the first whistle to the last. Congratulations to everyone involved on such a fantastic result. Our Women's team enjoyed a well-earned bye this weekend and will be back on the field next round, ready to go. A huge thank you to all of our players, coaches, managers, volunteers and supporters for everything you do each week. We love seeing our club continue to grow and represent Oberon with pride.

Teeth and trails.

Thanks to Cathrine @equineperformance dentistry for taking care of our horses! Some sharper teeth found causing lacerations in the mouth all nicely smoothed out and balanced, a fun outride and a hot fire and some new friends makes for a fabulous winter July rally!

Oberon Junior Hockey Association

Congratulations to the Oberon juniors, Ava Thompson, Frankie Evans, Eloise Milton, Bella Hayden and Izzy Kilby who were part of the Bathurst District under 12s team who were runners up in division B at the Kim Small Shield in Tamworth . The girls moved through the pool stages undefeated. Finishing on top of their pool they then moved into the top pool and played a round robin again. A win, a 1-0 loss and a 0-0 draw seen them finish second overall and move into the final. The girls played a tough game but unfortunately went down 1-0. To finish second overall is an amazing achievement considering they are playing teams from across NSW and the ACT. All the girls can be incredibly proud of their achievement. Oberon Hockey is very proud of you all

NSWCPS Golf Day - Blackheath

Well done to the three Year 5 boys - Sonny, Chaz and Jack - who represented our school at Blackheath on Tuesday and trialled for either the Mackillop or Polding teams. All three boys demonstrated excellent sportsmanship, skill and determination throughout the day, competing against some of the best young golfers in the region.

We are incredibly proud of the way they represented our school, showing commitment, resilience and a positive attitude on and off the course.

The results are in, and we would like to wish a big CONGRATULATIONS to Sonny for coming 3rd overall, which allowed him to be selected for the Polding team!

Great effort from all the boys and we can't wait to hear how Sonny goes with the Polding team next Term.
