The sport never stops

April 30, 2026

Oberon United Football Club

It was a mixed weekend for our local soccer sides, with both the men's and women's teams putting in strong efforts but ultimately falling short of a win. Despite their determination and some promising moments on the field, neither side was able to secure the result they were hoping for.

On a brighter note, our Under 13s delivered an outstanding performance, coming away with a well-earned victory. Their teamwork, energy, and commitment were on full display, providing a great highlight for the club and something to build on in the weeks ahead.

Bring on next weekend.

Thanks OUFC

Oberon Pony Club

Oberon had two riders make up the team of five who represented Zone 3 to compete at the State Sporting Campdrafting and Challange Championships at Gresford.

I am proud of our team, they all rode well and showed great sportsmanship and horsemanship skills. Thank you to their parents for getting them to Gresford, its a big ask. Thank you to the support team, together we all had a fantastic weekend. Congratulations to our team for some amazing results.

Olivia made the under 15yrs finals for Bending.

Game Day Wrap-Up

Oberon High hosted Lithgow High in their first round of the Western Volleyball Knockout, with a great day of competition across both matches. Lithgow claimed the girls' win with a strong performance that went right down to the wire, while Oberon's boys delivered on the home court to secure the victory in straight sets. Well done to all players for their effort and sportsmanship!
