Oberon RSL Bowling Club

A magnificent effort to all involved to brave the weather and play our Open Reserve State Fours which was a 21 end thriller almost causing a pitch invasion by the frantic fans.

A nip and tuck affair with Tim, Keith, Jason and Robyn (Oberon RSL Bowling Club) taking victory over Bruce, Steve, Phoenix and Lyn (Oberon RSL Bowling Club) by 20-17, everyone playing great bowls right through to the end.

As always, played in great spirit and followed up with an great BBQ with everyone enjoying the warm atmosphere of the Bowling Clubs BBQ area.

Thursday golf results for July 24

With a small field today Scott Hoolihan was the winner on a count back with 27 points Phil Cummings took the runner up prize.

Balls went to Tony Ryan, Sharly Rose, Glen Behan, Peter Griffiths, Laurie Murphy and Eric Whalan.

Nearest to the pin on the 17th was won by Chrissy Boardman.

Saturday Stableford Results.

A chilly winters day with 26 starters. A Grade was won again by Hamish Anderson!! A huge congrats with 37. The runner up was one of our amazing juniors Nate Hotham (pictured)with 35.

B Grade was won by Arron Cooper-Durrant with 36 and the runner up was Peter Dylan Griffiths with 33.
