Oberon Junior Hockey

What a Day!

Oberon Junior Hockey Club is incredibly proud of how many Oberon players represented Bathurst District at the Sutherland Under 12 Carnival on June 22 - 14 in total !

Nine of those made their representative debut.

Four Oberon juniors were members of the Bathurst Blue team who were undefeated in pool phase and made it through to the division 2 final - unfortunately going down 1-0 to Metro South. Of the nine players in the team five were on debut!

Two Oberon coaches were also coaching the district teams.

Congratulations also to Grace Yeo and Addisen Welsh who came away with a silver medal in division 2 from the under 16s State Championships.

So proud of Oberon junior hockey association

Oberon Tigers Senior League

A roaring day was had on Saturday. We started the day at 9am with our mini Tigers taking the field at the Junior mini cluster. The U11s then strapped the boots afterwards followed by the U13s. Both teams had a great win.

Kick off for our women's league was at 1:40pm. A disappointing 28-12 loss but that didn't stop our girls spirit. At 3pm our men's grade ran on. These boys are getting better and better each week and with impressive win of 66-4, we finished off the day on a high. Thanks for coming Grenfell Goannas Senior Rugby League Football Club and being apart of this special day. All the best for the rest of the season.

Congratulations to our players' players and point receivers.
