Oberon Tigers past and present get together to reminisce

On Saturday, March 9, a reunion of past and present Oberon Tigers players happened at the Oberon Leagues Club. It was a great opportunity to renew old friendships, make some new ones and share some memories. The club has a long history, with its inevitable ups and downs, but the turnout to this event showed that no matter when people competed or what the results might have happened to be at the time, club loyalty is still strong.

The event started in the afternoon and continued with music into the evening. As is usual at reunion events like this, memories quite possibly became a little less reliable as time went on and past achievements became a little more exaggerated, but that's what reminiscing is all about. The saying started in the motor sport world, but applies just as well to football: "The older I get, the faster I used to be".

The 2024 season starts on April 7, and everyone is looking forward to a great season from the Tigers.
