League ladies line up for a lively 2024

March 7, 2024

In all the excitement about the senior men's league team it's possible to forget that another team from Oberon competes at all the Woodbridge Cup rounds. It's the Women's League Tag Team. League Tag is basically the same game that the men play except tackling is replaced by capturing a tag attached to the "tackled" player. The other difference is that there are only 11 players on the field.

The rules of League Tag can be found here.

Introducing the Tigers' women's league tag team for 2024. This year's team is a mix of past and present players with a few young ones arriving for the first time. The women have been working hard in their pre-season in hopes of achieving some great results this year. The passion and dedication will carry this team to new heights, hoping for (and expecting) a better result than the 10th on the ladder that they achieved in 2023.
