Healthy Harold Visit

This week, Healthy Harold paid a special visit from the Life Ed Van to our school. Today's session focused on "Friends and Feelings" where students explored the importance of understanding emotions and building positive friendships. Students learnt how to recognise their own feelings, express them respectfully and appreciate the feelings of others.

Grandparent's Day

Our beautiful grandparents were treated to a special viewing of "Musical Mania". All our students have been super busy preparing for our performance and were very excited to share their hard work with their grandparents. It was lovely to have our grandparents at school with our students as students performed beautifully. It was great to receive so much positive feedback from some of our favourite people.

SWE Assembly (School Wide Expectations)

We held our school assembly, featuring a special appearance by Benny. House points were announced: Abercrombie is leading with 3,502 points , Werong with 3,078 points, and Tuglow with 2,535 points. Congratulations to Abercrombie, who will be rewarded on Thursday. We also recognised the SWE Star of the Term and Kind Citizen awards . Mr Goodwin announced our 2027 School Captains: Abbey Kyriakakis (Captain), Kyran Maloney (Captain), Medina Muratovic (Vice-Captain), and Libby Taylor (Vice-Captain). Congratulations to all!

We are waging war on Wills Tyre Service.

Stage 5 Engineering students testing and refining their Siege Weapons. The goal was to design and build a model of a Siege engine that was used during the middle ages to see how far they can throw a tennis ball. Students looked at the physics and mechanics involved in making the machines before coming up with their design. The three groups of students have produced two trebuchets and one Ballista. Hopefully with a bit more refinement we may have Nick Wills nervous.
