When there's learnin' to be doneJune 11, 2026
St Joseph's Catholic School Around the Rooms - Year 3 This term, Year 3 students have been busy learning and exploring across a range of subject areas. In Mathematics, students have been building their understanding of odd and even numbers and learning how division helps us group and share equally. In Science, students have had fun investigating solids, liquids and gases, and discovering how matter can change from one state to another. In Visual Arts, students discovered how line, symbols and patterns can be used to share stories and ideas. Inspired by Indigenous Australian artworks, they created meaningful artworks of their own. It has been wonderful to see students approach their learning with curiosity, creativity and enthusiasm throughout the term. Mrs Lau and Ms Nevalainen.
Wellbeing Week at St. Joseph's What a wonderful week we have enjoyed at St. Joseph's as we celebrated Wellbeing Week! Throughout the week, students took the opportunity to recognise and thank our teachers and staff for the incredible work they do both inside and outside the classroom. Students have also enjoyed a range of wellbeing activities, including a homework-free week, our colourful "Wear Whatever You Want" day, and extra playtime at the end of lunch. We can't wait to finish the week with our dance parties at both recess and lunch breaks! Thank you to everyone who helped make Wellbeing Week such a positive and enjoyable experience for our students.
