Schools sneak back to workApril 23, 2026
Oberon Public School Staff Development Days OPS teachers and support staff have been engaging in professional learning focused on supporting students with disabilities and learning difficulties. We worked with Oberon High School NSW DOE yesterday to ensure our learning environments are inclusive for all. Today's sessions cover factors that impact learning in the classroom and explore strategies to support these students, approaches for specific learning difficulties, supporting student regulation and creating welcoming and inclusive school environments. The wonderful staff at Oberon Public School are passionate about maintaining and improving the positive and supportive learning environment for all students. Jo'elle Frampton I Principal
St Joseph's Catholic School We welcomed back our students and staff for Term 2, and it was wonderful to see so many happy faces! The playground and classrooms were filled with energy, smiles and excitement as everyone settled back into learning. We're looking forward to a fantastic term ahead full of growth, fun and connection. Welcome back, everyone!
It was wonderful to see our Infants students take part in Cross Country this afternoon! There were plenty of smiles, determination and cheering as students gave their best effort out on the course. It was fantastic to witness such great sportsmanship, encouragement and resilience from all involved. A big congratulations to all of our young runners - you should be very proud of yourselves!

Harmony Day! Harmony Day might have been a month ago, but our excitement just needed some extra time to hit "send" on the photos! Here are some snapshots from our school’s celebrations . Harmony Day is all about inclusiveness, respect and belonging, and these photos capture our students coming together to celebrate the wonderful diversity in our school. Fiona Abbott | Deputy Principal
Bush Experience What a wonderful day our Indigenous students shared with Jordan Boney at Evans Crown Nature Reserve. The group explored bush tracks, connected with Country, and shared stories throughout the journey. At Flat Rock picnic area, everyone enjoyed lunch together, cooked Johnny Cakes and wandered around the river. Thank you to Jordan for inspiring and guiding us as we celebrated culture, community and nature. Tim Graham | Aboriginal Education Officer
