Oberon Public School Introducing Stage 2 Teachers Introducing our wonderful Stage 2 teachers. Kindergarten Stars Kindergarten has happily settled into school with lots of smiles, play and fun. They have enjoyed playing with their buddies and new friends. Swimming Carnival 2026 A wonderful day was had at our annual swimming carnival. Students displayed outstanding sportsmanship and house spirit. There were some wonderful races throughout the day with many students swimming personal best times. Champions will be announced and our competitors will be presented with their ribbons at a special afternoon assembly on Monday, 2.50pm in the hall. Congratulations to everyone who participated. Administration Team! Ms Belinda Melchers, Mrs Vicki Byrom and Mrs Clare McMermott support our staff and students on a daily basis. They do an extremely good job from helping teachers with resources to looking after children when they are unwell. They are the first friendly faces you see as you enter our school. School Beautification I would like to thank both Mrs Beattie and Mrs Higgins for the organisation of the beautiful artwork displayed throughout the toilets and the stunning painting in our entrance way. St Joseph's Catholic School Our Opening School Mass last Friday was a special and prayerful way to begin the year. We proudly inducted our School Leaders who are ready to serve our community with confidence and heart. Congratulations to all our leaders, we are very proud of you!
Oberon High School Skill Building Stage 5 Industrial Technology - Timber students are planning and designing hot pot stands. They are using hand tools and carefully marking out their designs. It's great to see them developing practical skills through this project. Robert Sinclair | TAS Teacher

Liquid Patterns in Science Year 7 MC class conducted an introductory experiment exploring how science explains everyday phenomena like surface tension. They observed how different liquids with unique surface tensions repel each other, creating beautiful coloured patterns in milk - a simple yet stunning demonstration of nature’s hidden forces at work! Snack Attack In Stage 4 Food Technology, students explored modern Australian homemade snacks while learning about food safety and preparation skills. They practiced handling ingredients carefully and worked together to prepare and cook Cheesy Twist Dippers and Chicken Strips. It was a great opportunity for students to build their confidence in the kitchen and learn some useful cooking techniques. Laura Young | TAS Teacher
Hampton Public School Hampton's Weekly Wrap-up It's been a busy first week back for Term 1 with students returning to school with a sense of enthusiasm and confidence. This week we have been getting used to new routines, making new friends, swimming lessons, and diving into our learning.
