We are excited to introduce the new teachers joining Oberon High School in 2026, and to welcome a second Deputy Principal joining our leadership team. Our school community looks forward to the knowledge, passion, and fresh perspectives they will bring. Beautification Boost!
OHS has installed brand new outdoor seating areas, located near the basketball courts and in the quad! These spaces have been created especially for our students to relax, socialise, and enjoy their breaks in comfort and style.
But that’s not all - inside the school, new carpet and internal painting are brightening up our learning environment even more. And stay tuned for the next upgrades: vibrant wall wraps and new flag poles to proudly display our school spirit.

Oberon Public School
Introducing Ryan to our new families.
For the new families to our school, I would like to introduce Ryan to you. Ryan is an 8 year old Labrador who has been trained by Guide Dogs Australia. His role is to respond to people and their environment under guidance and direction. Some of the benefits of having Ryan is to support children in gaining confidence, decreases anxiety and stress behaviours, and encourages positive changes towards learning and motivation.

Our leaders will support students, assist in school events and work closely with staff to ensure a positive school environment.

We are very lucky at OPS to have a wonderful team of School Learning Support Officers: Mrs Sonja Pointon, Mrs Rita Campbell, Mrs Michelle Elwin, Mrs Karla O'Donnell, Mrs Cindy Ryan and Mrs Joanne Robinson. They work tirelessly to support all our students both in the classroom and the playground.

Kindergarten Stars
