End of term celebrations!
Lots of fun was had at Oberon Public School as students partied into the end of their schooling year. K-2 had a visit from Santa, Stage 2 enjoyed lawn bowls and games at the Common. Stage 3 played tennis and also went to the Common. Thank you to the Oberon Fire Brigade. OPS staff would like to wish all their beautiful families a merry Christmas and a happy new year.

Year 6 Water Fight
Year 6 students had a fantastic time celebrating the end of their primary school journey with a fun and lively water fight, equipped with water bombs and water pistols. Plus, it was a great way to cool down on a warm day!

Learning to sew
Year 6 students are learning the art of sewing with Mrs Frampton and Mrs Byrom during break times. They are developing essential needlework skills, including threading needles, stitching techniques and beading - building patience and fine motor skills along the way. It is wonderful to see each student’s confidence grow as they perfect each step, turning fabric and thread into beautiful Christmas cushions.

Year 6 Farewell Dinner
Tuesday evening marked a very special milestone as we celebrated and farewelled our class of 2025 Year 6 Students. It offered a moment of reflection; the memories made, friendships formed along the way and the amount of growth we've been lucky enough to see. We are incredibly proud of each and every one of our Year 6 students and wish you all the very best as you take your next exciting steps forward. We hope you enjoyed the special night together!
A massive shout-out and wholehearted thank you to our Year 5 helpers, the wonderful parents/carers of our Year 5 students as well as our very own and much-loved Ms Reeves, who went above and beyond to help. We are incredibly grateful for your assistance in making the night so special - we couldn't have done it without you!
