PSSA Rugby Union State Championships

Good luck to Tye Newstead who is representing Western Region at the NSW PSSA Rugby Union State Championships at Forster this week. This is the first time Oberon Public School has had a representative at the Rugby Union State Championships. We are sure he will represent our school and region proudly. Good luck, Tye!

Education Week

This week is Education Week! Today, we celebrated public education at a special assembly. We recognised outstanding student citizenship across the school. We also recognised Counsellor Ian Tucker and Bin Humphries for their volunteer work over a number of years. It was wonderful having families tour the classrooms so the children could show off their hard work. I am so proud of the dedicated staff who work with your children at Oberon Public School. The best teachers, teacher's aides, office staff and general assistant work together to make OPS a great place to learn.

Homework Raffle

Congratulations to Domanic Howarth, Riley Shipley, Antonio Wright and Diondre Cowley who won the raffle for handing in their homework. The winners chose a variety of toys and stationery. Well done, students!

Fabulous Friday Attendance

Congratulations to our attendance raffle winner, Indy Christie-Johnston who came to school 90% or more of the time last fortnight, and it paid off. She received a family dinner voucher from Wok Chef at Oberon RSL.
