And That’s a Wrap

We have had a wonderful 4 days here at Great Aussie Bush Camps. Students have today enjoyed canoeing, archery and power fan. We have all had amazing experiences and had many adventures outside of our comfort zone. Students can be very proud of everything they have accomplished.

Exciting Day of Touch Football!

This month our four touch football teams headed to Orange for a junior touch football carnival. OHS had teams competing in the Year 7/8 boys’ and girls’ events, as well as the Year 9/10 boys’ and girls’ events. All our players gave their all on the field and we are proud to announce that the Year 7/8 boys finished 3rd in their category. It was a great day filled with action, teamwork and sportsmanship. A big thank you to the players who attended and Mr Inwood who helped coach two of the teams.

On National Sorry Day, we at Oberon High School reflected on the importance of acknowledging the past and working towards a reconciled future. This day serves as a poignant reminder of the impact of past injustices on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. As we embark on National Reconciliation Week, let's come together as a community to listen, learn, and support each other in building respectful relationships and understanding. At Oberon High School, we are committed to fostering an environment where every voice is heard and valued. Let’s take this opportunity to deepen our knowledge and promote healing.
