This week we proudly wrapped up our final Mob Well Health Day, marking the end of an incredible journey with our students, staff, and community. The final session was held at the common and included a BBQ, yarn and activities with community Over the past three sessions, we've been honoured to welcome NRL legends Cody Walker and Greg Inglis of the Goanna Institute, share their powerful stories and work alongside our young people on goal setting, mental health, and what it means to be strong, proud, and connected. These sessions weren't just inspiring—they were transformational. Through open yarns, goal setting, laughter, and deep reflection, students and community members came together to celebrate culture, resilience, and wellbeing. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who supported this initiative, including the Rural Adversity Mental Health Program RAMHP. We're proud to continue building a culturally safe and strong school community, where every young person is empowered to walk tall and proud.

Gala Day

Our students travelled to Bathurst last week to join the other Bathurst small schools for the Cross Country Gala Day. Well done to the students for their participation and sportsmanship. During the day they developed their sport skills in league tag and achieved success in the cross country and captain ball and tunnel ball competition. A great day making connections again with friends from other small schools.

Our 3-6s this term have been learning about narrative texts. Together with our Kindys and year ones as their illustrators, they are writing a narrative with the Blue mountains as the setting, adding their own characters, series of events, complication & conclusion. This is a preview of their settings. Don't they look amazing!
