Black Springs Public School Japanese Taiko Drumming Workshops Great day was shared with other local small schools participating in dance lessons and Taiko drumming workshops. Our students enjoyed reconnecting with friends from Rockley PS, Carcoar PS, Neville PS, Lyndhurst PS and Trunkey PS. Special thanks to Trunkey PS for hosting the awesome day of learning together. Black Springs Public School staff.
Sport Our students enjoyed a day of Judo and Ten Pin Bowling last week. With each session their skills are developing through practice and effort. Well done. Black Springs Public School staff.
Oberon Public School Gases Matter! 5/6W have been exploring the mysteries of gases in our Science and Technology lesson. To prove that air takes up space, students conducted an experiment where they submerged a cup - with a tissue inside - into water. But did the tissue get wet? Not at all! Why? Because the air trapped in the cup created an invisible barrier, keeping the water out. Cameron Wright l Classroom Teacher
Fabulous Friday Attendance Congratulations to our attendance raffle winner, Norm Orenshaw who came to school 95% of the time or more last fortnight, and it paid off. Norm received a meat tray from Oberon Farm Meats. Kelly Sheppard l Attendance Team

OPS are encouraging students to stay on top of their homework with a fun incentive. Those who complete all their homework on time will go into the draw to win a special prize. It’s a great way to stay motivated, build good study habits and be rewarded for hard work. Keep up the effort, and you might be our next winner! Jo'elle Frampton l Principal
