On Friday our students helped to clean up around Black Springs. The good news is there was not a lot of rubbish to pick up. Great job Black Springs.

Under the Southern Cross

In 12GF, we have been diving into the book "Under the Southern Cross" by Frané Lessac. Through engaging discussions and creative activities, we have examined how our individual backgrounds shape the way we see the world. Inspired by the vibrant artworks in Lessac's book, we have created our own pieces that reflect our personal contexts, capturing the unique stories and landscapes that define us.

Hampton Public School

A big hooray for our two new Student of the Week prize winners - Luca and Cody.

Luca has developed a real enthusiasm for writing this term. She has plenty of ideas and is trying hard with her spelling and punctuation.

Cody continues to impress in the way he listens to and follows directions in the classroom. He is having a go at more activities and becoming a real independent worker.

Well done to both students. You should be very proud!

Well done, Emma!

Macquarie Lions Club (Bathurst), Youth of the Year event was held on Sunday 23rd February at the Bathurst RSL Club. Emma Randle attended and was interviewed by three panel members to discuss aspects of her application. This was followed by two impromptu questions where she had two minutes to answer each question. The topics were: What does it mean to be a leader? and should there be restrictions around technology? Next, Emma prepared a 5 minute speech and she chose to speak about: How sport is good for your mind. Well done, Emma!
