Now we know who we're voting for

If you have reason to vote early, prepoll voting starts on April 22 and the places nearest to Oberon are:

Uniting Church Lithgow and Bathurst Girl Guides Hall
8:30-5:30 Mon-Fri, 9-4 Sat

You can register for a postal vote here, but your application must be made before 6pm on Wednesday, April 30 (and that might be too late for the form to arrive at your place in time to get it filled in, witnessed and posted, so you should apply well before that).

Polling booths on May 3 will be at:

Oberon High School
Black Springs Public School
Hampton Public School
O'Connell Public School

Mobile voting will come to both Columbia Aged Care and Oberon MPS on Thursday, April 24.

All the information you need about voting and how the count works can be found on the AEC web site, although you might have to hunt around to find it. Starting at the "For voters" link on the top left of every page should lead you to the right places.

The only important detail about the election which is not known at this time is which polling places will have Democracy Sausage Sandwiches available on May 3. This link might have details closer to the date.
