2025 Community Expo

Thursday, August 14, saw Oberon's charities, businesses and services turn out at the Library for the annual Services Expo.
Mayor Andrew McKibbin officially opened the event.
As well as having our own table, Oberon Matters had a walk around pointing the camera at things.
Oberon Council must be thanked and congratulated for organising the Expo to let residents know just what goes on to support the community.
A highlight of the afternoon was the presentation of grants to the successful applicants for Section 356 grants.

Being busy taking photos, Oberon Matters didn't have much time to spend sitting at our table out near the car park to tell visitors what we do here. There was a slideshow on a computer with a selection of pages from every month since the site launched in February 2024, a tablet showing some statistics about the site and a pamphlet talking about what we can offer to the Oberon community.
