Remember when it really snowed? Part 1 June 12, 2025 The promised heavy snow falls over the long weekend didn't happen. There was some snow but nothing like what the inevitably optimistic tourists were told before they loaded up the 4WDs and headed west across the Blue Mountains. Still, they spent some money in the shops and didn't do the sort of damage to reads and parks that some imbeciles did a couple of years ago, so there was no reason to complain. (Of course some people don't need a reason to complain, but whingeing about tourists in a town where tourism is a major industry is a bit silly.) To satisfy everyone's needs for some snow, here are some photos taken around town after a pervious big fall.
