The garden at Swatchfield is on a property first established in 1819, and this is the first time the garden around the residence has been opened to the public. It's a bit different to what most people expect a display garden to look like, because it is much more like a sculpture park where the emphasis isn't necessarily on plants but on the objects and artifacts in and around the plants. It's at the end of a longish dirt road, so people frightened of getting dust on their cars would have missed out on something special if they restricted the gardens they went to over the weekend to only those with nice sealed road access. Their loss.

Google's satellite needs to go over again. There's a lot more to see now.
