You might expect a garden belonging to a landscape gardener to be sculptured, with garden beds and plants laid out with absolute clinical precision, but that's not the case here. This garden is mainly about trees - what goes with what, what contrasts with what at different times of the year and what just looks good because it's that sort of tree. There's a couple of places where a "conventional" display garden intrudes, but mainly it's just wandering around looking at the foliage. Lovely.
