St Joseph's Catholic School Fete

March 20, 2025

Who doesn't love a school fete? Oberon turned on a lot better weather this year than last year when everything except the bouncy castle and the chook lotto had to be hastily moved indoors.

All the regular fete things were there, including a bouncy castle, a sausage sizzle, a coffee van and a chocolate wheel. And the highlight of the day - the chook lotto.

It took a while, but with much encouragement from the spectators the champion
chook finally "made a deposit" to make someone's ticket a winner

The school thanked everyone.

We are delighted to share the wonderful success of our recent Charity Fete, which brought our school community together in a spirit of generosity and joy. Thanks to your support, we raised an incredible $3200, helping to make a real difference in the lives of those in need.

The day was filled with fun activities, delicious food, and heartwarming moments. Our students, staff, and volunteers worked tirelessly to organise stalls, games, and entertainment, making the event a memorable experience for all. A special thank you to all parents and generous donors who contributed prizes to ensure the fete's success.

As a Catholic school, we are committed to living out our faith through acts of charity, and this event was a true reflection of our values of compassion, service, and community. Let us continue to work together to support those in need and inspire our students to be beacons of kindness in the world. Thank you once again for your generosity and participation.
