Media release - a grant for Oberon Tarana Heritage Railway

Federal Member for Calare has issued the following statement.

Exciting News!

We are thrilled to announce that the Oberon Tarana Heritage Railway Inc has been successful in receiving a generous $10,750.00 grant from the Veolia Mulwaree Trust. It was an honour to support Greg Bourne and the team. This grant enables them to purchase a new ride-on mower, ensuring safe and efficient green-keeping and vegetation control along the beautiful heritage rail line.

The Oberon Tarana Heritage Railway Inc. is a passionate volunteer-driven association dedicated to bringing one of the region’s most scenic and historic rail lines back to life.

A huge "Thank you" to everyone who has supported their efforts, and of course, a heartfelt thank you to the Veolia Mulwaree Trust for investing in the future of Oberon and its heritage.
