O'Connell Artisans' Market

O'Connell was not short of things to do and watch on Sunday, November 3. There was the first cricket match at the new Recreation Ground and right next door was the annual Artisans' Market to raise funds for the restoration and preservation of St Thomas' Church and the surrounding buildings.

The standard of the restoration can be seen in this photo inside the hall.

These two photos were taken inside another of the restored buildings. The work might rely heavily on the work of volunteers but it still costs money for materials and tools, so events like the markets are essential to keep the project moving forward.
