Edith car boot sale

September 26, 2024

The Edith Car Boot Sale on Sunday September 22 saw perfect weather. The number of stalls was a bit lower than at previous events, but this could be because it clashed with the Tarana Farmers' Martklet, as well as other events in the area. (Oberon Matters only got there late in the day after the Grand Final of the women's soccer in Bathurst.)

The day was still a success, with the money raised going towards fitting out the shed at the Recreation Ground. The shed is looking better all the time, and the money raised will make it even better in the future.

A word from the organisers:

Thank to all those who helped, had a stall and visited. It was sunny, friendly, great food and a good time was had by all. Andrew Gee our local member came and commented on what a great venue it has become with all that has been added, an asset for the local community. We look forward to bookings for parties, celebrations of all kinds, cricket matches etc!
