NAIDOC Art Exhibition

July 11, 2024

It's time again for the annual NAIDOC Art Exhibition at the Oberon Community Centre. It's your opportunity to see (and buy) some wonderful artworks by local artists. This year's show is much larger than the inaugural show in 2023, and as Mayor Mark Kellam said in his welcome to the people at the exhibition opening, it will almost certainly be a part of Oberon's annual calendar in the future.

There are artworks there to suit everyone's budget and your purchase will help to ensure that the region's artists can keep on doing what they do. You can't buy Item 146, "Coming Together" by Isabelle from Oberon Public School, though because the two parts are destined to be hanging in the Oberon Matters office after the exhibition finishes.

The photos don't give the full experience. You just have to go and see for yourself.
