A cold day for Oberon Farmers' Market

May 9, 2024

A smaller than usual crowd turned out for the May Farmers' Market at the Oberon Showground. Anyone walking from the car park to the main building would have understood why - very cold with drizzly rain trying to become snow made it the perfect day for staying home in front of a fire with a warm cup of something to drink.

Those who made the effort were rewarded with the usual collection of crafts, plants, things to eat and interesting knickknacks so it was worth braving the cold. It was warm inside anyway, so once you were there all the problems with the weather disappeared.

The next Market will be on Saturday, June 1.

And someone drew the short straw and ended up outside in the cold.

Brrrr!
