A new business in town

Well, it's not really a "new" business because it's been around for more than two years at markets and artisans' fairs, but now it has a new home and a shopfront.

Nicky Holbrook has moved into 87 Oberon Street with Garden of Wire Creative Workshops. It might look like a shop, but really it's a school where you can learn to do all sorts of things with your hands. Even making things by bending wire. "Do the twist", as today's grandparents said in their youth.

One of Nicky's initiatives is the "FriYay! Craft Club", where children from 7 to 12 can get together on a Friday afternoon to learn new skills. Click on the image over there to see a brochure.
