Oberon's night of nights

September 11, 2025

The town turned out on Friday, September 5, for the annual Oberon Business Awards organised by the Oberon Business and Tourist Association (OBTA).

Even before the festivities officially started, the bar at the Oberon RSL was packed with people from the local business community getting ready for the event.

The table settings were wonderful, put together by Anna Shaw from Kringle Cottage.

The room was humming harder as the ceiling flew away ...

OBTA President Tatiana Coulter introduces Wayne Barker as MC.
Wayne tells terrible jokes.

Paul Toole MP opened the proceedings.

And now to the awards.

Music throughout the evening was provided by Kelly Hamilton. Grab any chance you have to see Kell when she performs around the area. You will not be disappointed.

AS well as thanking Anna for the table decorations, thanks have to go to Wok Chef Bistro at the Oberon RSL for the food and Prue Kavalieros for the dessert cakes.

And of course the sponsors who made the night possible.

It was a great night and OBTA have to be congratulated for the organisation that went into it as well as the award process itself. On to 2026!
