The business awards are back

The Oberon Business and Tourism Association (OBTA) have announced that the Business Awards are back for 2024. All businesses are eligible to enter the awards, not just members of the Oberon Business and Tourism Association.

OBTA had this to say: "Businesses and individuals that provide excellent service and deserve recognition can be nominated by a member of the public in any of this year's award categories. Businesses are also welcome to nominate themselves."

The categories for nomination are:

• Employer of Choice
• Outstanding Community Organisation
• Outstanding Visitor Experience
• Outstanding New Business
• Excellence in Micro Business (fewer than 5 employees)
• Excellence in Small Business (5 - 20 employees)
• Excellence in Large Business (20+ employees)
• People’s Choice - Favourite Tradie (plumber, electrician, beautician, hairdresser etc)
• People’s Choice - Hospitality (favourite cafe, accommodation (inc motel, air bnb), restaurant, pub etc)
• People’s Choice - Service with a smile (favourite employee)
