May 9, 2024

Two Oberon businesses are finalists in the 2024 Western NSW Business Awards.

RedGround

RedGround are finalists in the "Outstanding New Business" category. Combining truffle hunting from 722 trees offering year round truffle varieties with farmstay in RedGround's cottages and equestrian events (coming soon), RedGround offers an excellent contribution to Oberon's tourist attractions.

Everything you need to know about RedGround can be found at their web site.

Beeswax Wraps

Finalists in the "Excellence in Micro Business" category, Beeswax Wraps are a well-kept secret around town. They produce colourful wraps made from beeswax, organic cotton, jojopba oil, pine resin and colloidal silver which are reusable and can be used to replace the non-reusable plastic cling wrap for storing food. The wraps are available in a wide variety of designs, many of them with indigenous motifs.
